Spike Lee

Lee is not just a moral influence on black culture, but he has a powerful voice in politics because he opens his mouth when given an opportunity. I have rarely seen the press be fair with him or honest about him and his films.

He knows our proffered culture is a lie and a bullshit scandal.

He knows we need to be re-educated.

He tells us this constantly and convincingly.

He knows that the majority of black youth in America have mass potential but little opportunity.

He sends us this message through his films.

He convinces people to change their own fates.

Spike is probably the top film director alive today. When I saw Summer of Sam I nearly flipped. This is poetry, folks.

Not every one of his films is good... but even Picasso did some total crap.
